Intimate Wedding at Shatin Hyatt Regency

Today we will like to showcase an intimate wedding held at Shatin Hyatt Regency for a lovely couple, Dorcas & Robin. These lovebirds live in Canada and so we communicated mostly by emails. Dorcas is such a warm person and it has been really enjoyable designing and working out all the details together for her wedding.

Our favourite kind of weddings is always intimate ones, with gorgeous flowers for decoration and personalised details... and this wedding has all these elements so it is hard to be excited about it! A peek at some prep work before the wedding, Dorcas wanted a rustic wedding and decided to use plants as centerpieces and favours, so we sourced these tin buckets and also DIY the tags.

Such a treat to receive the stunning photos taken by Henry Fok Photojournalist!

Dainty boutonnieres, peach one for the groom, ivory ones for the groomsmen and orange ones for the family members.

And here's the wedding party.

So in love with the blush and nude shades of the bridesmaids dresses and look at everyone's gorgeous smiles!

Just have to share these 2 stunning pictures, the emotions of the couple, the light, the trees in the background... completely mesmerising.

Chairs make such a huge difference to the ceremony and so glad that Hyatt provides our favourite chiavari chairs for weddings, which we adorn with hanging jars of flowers.

The bridesmaids during the wedding processional.

We believe this must be one of the most emotional moments of a wedding, with the father of the bride walking his daughter down the aisle and the bride walking towards the love of her life and the start of their happily ever after.

And during the ceremony. The colour palette is a warm and refreshing one with various shades of peach with light green and a little white.

Light fabric are great for outdoor weddings, look at how the veil and tulle of the dress are being blown gently by the wind.

For the bridesmaids, we made bouquets with Roses, Spray Roses, Ranunculus, Astilbe, Lisianthus and Dusty Miller.

And here's the new Mr. and Mrs.!

For Dorcas' bridal bouquet, we kept it rustic and used these Juliet Garden Rose, Succulent, amazing huge ruffled Ranunculus, Spray Rose, Astilbe, Astrantia and Snowberry.

A simple white wedding cake adorned with fresh flowers.

For the dinner, Dorcas wanted herbs as centerpieces which also doubled up as favours for guests to take home, such a great idea and perfect for those who like green ideas!!

In line with our DIY rustic tags made of kraft paper, we also sourced matching kraft table numbers and paper bags for bring the plants home.

All our best wishes to the newly weds as they embark on their new journey together!
