Intimate Wedding at Shatin Hyatt Regency

An intimate wedding at Shatin Hyatt Regency on a gorgeous day for the couple, Dorcas & Robin. The couple lives in Canada and so we communicated through a lot of emails but Dorcas is such a warm person and it has been very enjoyable designing and working out details for her wedding.

Our favourite kind of weddings is always intimate ones, with gorgeous flowers for decoration obviously and personalised details. This wedding has all these elements! A look at some prep work before the wedding, DIY these rustic tags for the wedding favours.

So excited to receive and such a treat going through pictures taken by Henry Fok Photojournalist!

We never have the time to take pictures of our boutonnieres so are glad to see one. Peach boutonnieres for the groom, ivory ones for groomsmen and orange for the family.

The wedding party.

Heart the blush and nude shades of the bridesmaids dresses and everyone's gorgeous smiles!

Just have to share these 2 stunning pictures, the emotions of the couple, the light, the trees in the background... completely mesmerising.

Chairs make such a huge difference and really glad that Hyatt has our favourite chiavari chairs for weddings! For the aisle, jars of flowers were hung on the chiavari chairs.

The bridesmaids during the wedding processional.

We think this is one of the most emotional moments of a wedding, with father of the bride walking his daughter down the aisle and the bride walking towards the love of her life.

A peek during the ceremony. The colour palette for the flowers is various shades of peach with light green, which we think gives off a warm and fun vibe.

Heart how the veil and tulle of the dress being blown gently by the wind is captured.

Bridesmaids carry ivory bouquets of Roses, Spray Roses, Ranunculus, Astilbe, Lisianthus and Dusty Miller.

And the new Mr. and Mrs.!

Bridal bouquet with Juliet Garden Rose, Succulent, Ruffled Ranunculus, Spray Rose, Astilbe, Astrantia and Snowberry.

Heart simple white wedding cakes adorned with fresh flowers.

Last but not least, the centerpieces! Dorcas decided on herbs in rustic tin buckets which doubled up as favours for guests to take home.

Here are the DIY tags tied onto the buckets with twine. We also sourced kraft paper bags for guests to bring the plants home and matching table numbers.

All our best wishes to the newly weds as they embark on their new journey!
