Rustic Peach Wedding at HK Country Club

We have been looking forward to this wedding for such a long time and are so duper excited to be finally sharing the details with you all!

Jasmine is a gentle and sweet bride who loves rustic details. We were excited about her vision not to mention the colour palette being one that we swoon over, peach and mint green!
The reception was held at the Hong Kong Country Club, with a fun outdoor lunch reception on the lawn for friends and colleagues.

When we found out that the bridal car is a Rolls Royce, we suggested baby's breath garlands instead of those commonly seen car arrangements and can say we heart how they turned out!

From the parking area, we placed a number of chalkboard signs with balloons to direct guests to the ceremony venue.

Upon arriving the lawn, we planned a number of checkpoints and stations. First, a sweet floral path to welcome the guests.

Then a table for guests to drop off their gifts for the couple's honeymoon fund with a rustic glasshouse filled with jars and bud vases of flowers.

Next is a fun ladder display of the couple's travel pics.

Guests can then take polaroid pics with props and also leave the couple some sweet messages. The table was adorned with a genuine vintage mint Hermes 3000 typewriter {made in a Swiss and first introduced in 1958!!!} filled with flowers. Quite chuffed when we overheard guys commented that the typewriter is awesome as we don't really expect men noticing these things.

Lastly, time for guests to find their table numbers. Escort cards are so much prettier and more fun than table plans. We came up with the idea of displaying them on rustic shutters and the bride had matching cards to the invites printed.

Mini wood alphabets showing surnames to help guests find their escort cards easily.

And centerpieces! Mixture of jam jars, milk bottles and mini bud vases of flowers filled all the tables. Heart the bride's personalised table runners with the wedding logo embroidered on them.

We are always very excited when the couple decides to go for a sweetheart table rather than traditional head table. They are just so much more intimate and photogenic. Jasmine and Ian's sweetheart table was dressed up with burlap and lace table linen, jars of flowers, rustic Mr. and Mrs. and also a set of lanterns. Flowers included an array of the prettiest peach and apricot Garden Roses, pink Spray Roses, Chamomile Daisies, Dusty Miller with mini Succulents dotted along.

Last but not least, we arranged giant balloons to go with our mint green bike which got a lot of love and attention as we saw quite a few guests waiting to take turns to snap pics with it.

So happy to be working with the talented photographer, Jada Poon again and just have to share a few of her dreamy pics.

Here's Jasmine's bridal bouquet with so many of our favourite flowers including peach Campanella and Juliet Garden Roses, amazing large blush Ranunculus, white Snowberry, Asclepias Tuberosa Ice Ballet, Lambs Ear with a touch of trailing foliage.

Props always add fun and help couples pose for pics and here is one of the options - a large rustic wreath with a banner message. Looks good whether hung on a tree or "framing" the sweet newlyweds' smooch.

The centerpieces...

So many lovely sweet little details! A sprig of rosemary sprig with each napkin.

The sweetheart table.

Looking good not just from the front but also from behind, chalkboard chair sign for the bride's seat.

Can you feel the love in the air?

The couple having fun with our bike, so sweet it's like adding honey to whipped cream!

This got to be our favourite pic!!!

We were fortunate to be involved in styling this wedding, apart from the flowers, we also did many chalkboard signs, arranged furniture rental and balloons, designed escort cards and table runners, sourced loads of sweet props to make the wedding completely unique and filled with the loveliest details.

But sometimes not all things go as planned and challenges can pop up without warning. The day before the wedding, typhoon signal was hosted although it was November! It was really windy when we were setting up so we had to improvise and made some last minute adjustments. Fortunately the weather held up, everything was set up, there was even a little sun when the lunch started and all the guests had a blast.

To Jasmine, thank you for all your trust and allowing us to be a part of your wedding, you have been such a joy to work with. To you and Ian, congrats on tying the knot and we wish you two lovebirds a married life filled with love and happiness!
