Soft Pink Wedding at St. Paul's Church

When we meet with clients, we always ask a lot of questions about details so as to understand the vision of the bride and also to make sure our flowers compliment their outfits.

These days almost all understand that a dreamy bouquet that matches with the wedding gown will very rarely go well with the Chinese "kwa" or qipao for the tea ceremony. For the bride, Sylvia and her stunning "kwa", we suggested a mono Gloriosa bouquet. Although the colours of Gloriosa, red and yellow, are quite loud, we heart that the bouquet feels quite light and not as overwhelming as a solid red bouquet.

Simple yet stunning.

And now the sweet and sacred wedding ceremony. Churches are one of our favourite type of ceremony venues, especially one with organs and we were blessed to be able to design the flowers at St. Paul's Church for a most endearing couple - Sylvia and Alec.

A peak down towards the stage before the ceremony started. The interior was mostly brown and the main colour of the flowers was pink, which lightened up the venue instantly, pink + brown is also such a classic and romantic colour palette.

2 wreath arrangements adored the tall wood candle stands at the altar with Tulips cascading down.

During the site visit, the curved stands in front of the altar stood out, we thought it would look stunning with flowers along there. After checking with the church that flowers are allowed, we suggested the idea and were thrilled that Sylvia also loved the design.

And here is 22+ feet of floral garland consisting Peony, Rose, Spray Rose, Hydrangea, Lisianthus and Snow-on-the Mountain!!

Lush pew ends along the aisle.

Officially Mr. and Mrs., Sylvia looking absolutely stunning and graceful that day!

The bridal bouquet is soft and femine and consisted of pale pink Rose, ivory Spray Rose with white and pale pink Sweet Pea.

The bridesmaids wore chiffon dresses in different styles and and held pink and white bouquets.

The flowers were then moved to the reception venue - Grand Hyatt, and the floral garlands were placed on the long reception table.
Georgeous Peonies were in season. Diamante pins were added to the flowers, a little bling to give them an "evening look".

Have been obsessed with fringed lace since using a chantilly lace during the Zita Elze wedding course, so glad we found some white ones locally and used them to prettify glass hurricane holders.

The day was planned and managed immaculately by White Bridal, loved how everything turned out at this wedding!

Received a lovely message from Sylvia after the wedding which always brighten up our day and glad we went an extra mile for :
"I just want to say thank you for the beautiful and loving flowers and decor you did for I and Alec for our wedding day. The flowers match so well with the reception table, candy and photo wall and corner that night at Grand Hyatt. We love them!"

Sylvia, thank you for letting us design flowers for your wedding and we wish you and Alec a blessed life together filled with love and happiness!
