MFH Part 3c : New York’s Extraordinary Denise Fasanello

The highlight of my time in New York was definitely the chance to shadow an awesome floral designer - Denise Fasanello, on 2 weddings that she did in August. I think she has the most amazing talent in mixing, whether it’s different textures or colours and also usage of unusual and interesting flowers. She has a very strong and consistent style in her floral designs which feel very natural, like casually going through a garden and gathering the flowers, yet there is so much thought and uniqueness in every single one of her bouquets.

All the magic happens in her spacious studio in Brooklyn.

Lots of cool inspirations...

The first wedding has a gorgeous and cheerful summer colour theme of apricot, peach and hot pink. Absolutely love the use of jasmine and berries in this bouquet.

Lovely matching bridesmaids’ bouquets.

And here are the gorgeous and lush centerpieces!

Flowers in the second wedding had a very vintage and rustic feel to it. Absolutely adore these succulents in little vintage pots.

The main colours of the centerpieces were green with just a pop of apricot and hot pink arranged in mercury glass vases.

Every table has a slightly different design.

Head over to Denise's blog, Little Pheasant, to take a look at more of her gorgeous designs!

I'm really grateful for the chance to see a New York floral designer in action and also met her super cool team of florists, so wanna thank Denise again for everything!

Coming up is Europe part of my fleur holiday!
